Sometimes you just need a little TLC!

The AAC website has good navigation, good graphics and good content!  It just needed a little updating.  Your Computer Lady is happy to do one time or monthly updates to keep a site current.

In this recent update, we:

  • Changed the address for Patricia’s new location
  • Added new service she is now offering
  • Fixed a broken photo slider
  • Edited some page content 

Visitors come to your website researching your firm or seeking information. Nothing is more frustrating for them than finding out of date information!

14th Annual Website Update! – Leo Buscaglia Foundation

Your Computer Lady has been working for the Leo Buscaglia Foundation since 2006 when we did new website for them!  We are very proud of the affiliation with this exemplary non-profit.

Each year YCL updates the site to introduce the year’s grant recipients with the Report To Contributors. Each recipient has their own page describing the organization and sharing photos. 

The Home Page of the site is also updated: fresh quotes from Dr. Buscaglia’s books, logos promoting the new recipients and any other small updates needed to keep the site current.

A website with fresh information serves the organization by clearly sharing its mission, by optimizing for search engines and serving as a hub for other marketing efforts.

Peacefully Healing - Joan Marlow

 

Joan Marlow, owner of Peaceful Easy Healing, has expanded into podcasting on Transformation Talk Radio!

When Your Computer Lady assisted with updating her website, we added a new page for the Radio Show.  There was a custom piece of software from Transformation Talk Radio that connected to their site to pull in Joan’s podcasts as well as other from the Show.  YCL installed and configured the software on her site.  Take a look!  And listen in to one of Joan’s shows!

Just a Little Updating & Maintenance – Flying Crane Astrology

Flying Crane Astrology logoThe Flying Crane Astrology site is visually pleasing and has good content.  Dr. Castle just needed some help updating the site and keeping it in good working order. Visit the site!

A WordPress site requires regular maintenance. YCL has a plan!  Monthly maintenance costs a whole lot less than an emergency site repair. Let’s not even talk about the cost from a total site crash!  We provide off-site back ups. Should the site be hacked, we can re-install a back up and have your site up and running within a few hours generally. We install security plug-ins to monitor the site and notify us quickly of attacks or problems.

It is true. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!

eCommerce Added to Monetize Site – Solar Concepts

Solar Concepts needed a new website to accurately portray the extraordinary quality of their solar products: SolaTube, RediLight and QuietCool Fans.

YCL created a new WordPress site. Their products are very visual so we needed the flexibility of WordPress to display videos, product photos as well as installation photos to show the dramatic effects of SolaTubes.

The site expanded recently to include an eCommerce software solar concepts logoto allow for the purchase of RediLight panels.

WordPress is the most flexible content management software (CMS) available. There are thousands of themes available to help build the sites, there are tens of thousands plug-in available to add special features. You can have a photo slider, a rotating testimonials widget, a Facebook link, a membership directory or a weather report!

RPC LogoOne of RPC’s main goals is to educate their clients.  They feel educated clients can make the best decisions and will be happiest with RPC’s high quality work.

IHC logoWith a growing team of health insurance agents, Karla Flores Smith, Regional Sales Leader for IHC Specialty Benefits wants to support the agents with email marketing.

Educational Series for New Clients

First there is a series of emails to introduce and remind new clients about all of the services available from IHC. Karla wrote four emails covering the most important items. This is an excellent way to strengthen the relationship between the client and agent.

Monthly Email

Next clients, prospects, professional colleagues receive a monthly email full of educational articles. The email topics range from arthritis awareness to sun safety.  Each month includes a FAQ about health care insurance. As a bonus, Karla shares one of her own Eat Healthy recipes.  Karla prepares the content. The emails are sent to the clients of any agent who wishes to participate!

Expanding Services

Dr Holly Castle NDDr. Holly Castle, ND is building on her 20+ years of expertise and is teaching hard to find classes for her colleagues.  YCL worked with her to build custom landing pages for both the Unda classes and the Gemmo classes.

The landing pages included descriptions of the classes, testimonials from previous students and a PayPal button for quick registration.

The pages are simple and can be updated easily to accommodate future classes.

With the landing pages in place, YCL helped develop emails promoting the classes.  Dr. Castle used page links in Facebook posts also which drew attendees as well as visitors to her website.

Printwerx Social Media Marketing

PrintwerxIn the 2+ years, Alice Woodard, owner of Printwerx has worked with YCL for social media, we have worked out a sweet system!  Once a month, we meet to finalize the pieces of info for the current month’s marketing: 2 emails, 4-8 social media posts on the blog, Facebook and Instagram.

Alice uses her insider knowledge to find the products to talk about and the articles to best educate her clients. YCL pulls all the pieces together in the right format for each platform. After Alice approves the draft, the posts are made, the emails are sent. Alice then gets reports showing her the results of the campaign.

At the monthly meeting, we also talk about ideas for the next 2-3 months. This gives Alice thinking time. She can find the best articles, not the ones she locates in 15 minutes before the deadline. She may have second thoughts and change a topic for a better one. Deadlines don’t compromise quality. If she finds an interesting article on a new topic, we add it to the Marketing Calendar to consider at the next meeting. Good ideas don’t get lost!
