Many of you are in “sensitive” industries so you’re having more trouble with Facebook on your posts being flagged and/or your ads being rejected. Here is an excellent article about how to be successful with Facebook. (And the other platforms!)
Insurance Experts.team – A team website
The value of a team website is that new members can easily, cost-effectively, productively get on the site quickly!
EXAMPLE:
Karla Flores Smith, Regional Sales Leader, did an email introduction for Brandi Martinez on May 11th so Your Computer Lady could help her get started with the tools to build her insurance business. Brandi is brand new to insurance and owning her own business. YCL had her complete a simple form to get her Facebook business page published by May 25th. We were able to add her contact information and calendar to the team website by May 26th.
All that and Brandi and Pamela celebrated their birthdays in the meantime!
Acupuncture Alternative Care Welcome Email
After several months without emails, Patricia Crawford put together an excellent Welcome Back! email for her clients. It resulted in a good Open Rate and positive feedback from her clients.
Did You Know…
- An email is 5x more likely to be seen than a Facebook post?
- Transactional emails have 8x more opens and generate 6x more revenue?
- The Return On Investment (ROI) is over $38 for email?
- Email ROI is 28.5% compared to 7% for direct mail?

Sometimes you just need a little TLC!
The AAC website has good navigation, good graphics and good content! It just needed a little updating. Your Computer Lady is happy to do one time or monthly updates to keep a site current.
In this recent update, we:
- Changed the address for Patricia’s new location
- Added new service she is now offering
- Fixed a broken photo slider
- Edited some page content
Visitors come to your website researching your firm or seeking information. Nothing is more frustrating for them than finding out of date information!
14th Annual Website Update! – Leo Buscaglia Foundation
Your Computer Lady has been working for the Leo Buscaglia Foundation since 2006 when we did new website for them! We are very proud of the affiliation with this exemplary non-profit.
Each year YCL updates the site to introduce the year’s grant recipients with the Report To Contributors. Each recipient has their own page describing the organization and sharing photos. Example.
The Home Page of the site is also updated: fresh quotes from Dr. Buscaglia’s books, logos promoting the new recipients and any other small updates needed to keep the site current.
A website with fresh information serves the organization by clearly sharing its mission, by optimizing for search engines and serving as a hub for other marketing efforts.
Specialized Apps for Websites
Joan Marlow, owner of Peaceful Easy Healing, has expanded into podcasting on Transformation Talk Radio!
When Your Computer Lady assisted with updating her website, we added a new page for the Radio Show. There was a custom piece of software from Transformation Talk Radio that connected to their site to pull in Joan’s podcasts as well as other from the Show. YCL installed and configured the software on her site. Take a look! And listen in to one of Joan’s shows!
Her company/website is Peaceful Easy Healing.
New Pinterest Tool
Pinterest introduced a new set of tools for creating content. It is especially geared toward influencers and creators who want to build a following on Pinterest.

Request for Reviews
doing the review.
- Put a request for reviews and the appropriate links in your
email signature. - Add a reviews block to your email template so that each email asks for reviews. Use logos and link directly to the sites.
- Add a section on your Home Page with logos and links to review sites. When clients visit your site they get a reminder request.
Some interesting LinkedIn stats: The truth is that most people on LinkedIn aren’t doing content—period. Of the 740 million members on the platform, less than 2% are posting content on a weekly basis. And for the small percentage who are, their content tends to be text, graphic or link posts, not video. So if you start doing one LinkedIn text post every week, you’re in an elite club. And if you start posting one LinkedIn video every week, you’re in very small company indeed.
